EIC event
Over past 2 years the EIC Scottish office have very successfully organised 2 graduate recruitmenteic_logo21 events, in order to address the massive skills shortage in the Energy Sector. The idea of the event is to give members of the EIC a unique opportunity to present to university students a snapshot/ overview of your business and the kind of graduate opportunities that could be available within your company.

This year we are holding the event in Aberdeen and hope to have students from Robert Gordon University and University of Aberdeen attending.

Start time of the event:
17.30 (Registration and light refreshments)
Finish time of the event:
Students will be given the option to network with companies after the presentations. We aim to close the
event at 21.45.
Location of the event: Aberdeen Football Club, Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen. AB24 5QH

Who is this event open to?
This event will be open to all Robert Gordon University and University of Aberdeen students looking for a career within the energy industry.

Contribution to be made to room hire and light refreshments:
Based on the numbers of students attending over the last two years, we require each company presenting and exhibiting to make a £224.25. contribution to room hire and  refreshments. As a non profit making organisation we appreciate your help with this matter.

Exhibition stands
Students will have time before, during the break and after the event to network with each company offering
excellent opportunities for undergraduates speak to you about their career ambitions and how they could
be met by seeking employment within your company.

There will be slots for 8 member companies to present. We are hoping to run this event on the 19th February. Please could you let me know if you are interested by Tuesday 13th January 2009. It is important that you reply by this date so we can get the ball rolling with advertisement for this event to students.
