NDA News 19 December 2008

Following the UK Radioactive Waste Storage Review Stakeholder Workshop held in October 2008, the NDA intends to publish an updated document by mid-January 2009. The NDA will welcome comments on this next version of the Review and another stakeholder workshop will be held in February 2009 to seek further views before final publication on 31 March 2009.

The Review was produced in response to a commitment made in the NDA Strategy and also addressed the Committee on Radioactive Waste Management (CoRWM) Recommendation 2 on interim storage.
