Given the economic recession and market situation Vattenfall has decided to put any decisions on participating in the UK’s nuclear new build programme on hold for the next 12-18 months. Vattenfall retains a significant interest in the UK energy market and will maintain a presence in the UK to monitor developments in nuclear new build.
